We normally drink skim milk, but now that Ashton is almost one we buy him Vitamin D Whole milk, but when we ran out of our skim milk I let the kids have some of Ashton's with dinner:
Trevor- (after tasting Ashton's milk) "Is this what you put in his bottles?!"
Me- "Yes"
Trevor- "No wonder he drinks them down so fast.....this is EGGNOG!"

We make our kids brush their teeth for 2 minutes before they go to school and have recently started using timers so that they can do it the entire time:
Me- "We have to leave NOW or you will be late for school!"
Kids- "We are brushing our teeth."
Me- "Well you need to be DONE brushing your teeth!"
Kids- "But the timer has not gone off yet!"
Me- "Well then BRUSH FASTER!" (as if that will make the timer beep sooner :)

Durring Sacrament meeting I had to move Kaylee to the end of the bench by me because she kept fighting while sitting by Trevor. She was being quite defiant and kept trying to go sit by Trevor and repeatedly asked me if she could go sit by Trevor, to which I would say:
Me- "NO! Sit down and be QUIET"
Kaylee- "NO! Can I go sit by Trevor!?!"
Me- "Kaylee, I have answered you and the answer is NOT going to change!"
Kaylee- (with quite a determined look) "How do YOU know!"

Nathan- "Mom, why do we have to clean this house all these days!?"
Me...in the same whinny voice..- "Because you make a mess in this house all these days!"
Nathan (laughing)- "Ha! Good one Mom!"

Ashton in his highchair- "Waaaaaah!"
Me- "Ashton, what happened?"
Nathan asleep on the couch- "He fell down."

Nathan coming in from outside crying
Nathan- "Mom...I fell down and hurt my leg!"
Me- "Now why did you do that?"
Nathan- "I didn't do it!"
Me- "Oh, OK, go outside and play then"
Nathan no longer crying- "OK" and goes out.

Kaylee- "Mom, I want to be normal"
Me giving her a confussed look
Kaylee- "Well, I know I look normal, but I want to ACT normal!"

While at Famous Dave's BBQ:
Bryan- "Why is it that we can all LOVE BBQ ribs, but is someone says they put rib meat in my chicken nugget no one wants it?"

Trevor- "Mom, Nathan is changing his clothes."
Me- "I don't care."
Trevor- "He has taken off all his clothes and his underware."
Me- "I DON'T CARE." (I was not in a good mood)
Trevor- "He is in the front yard."
Me- "NATHAN!!!!"

After running to the outhouse at the campground and making it in time:
Nathan- "Hallelujah, Hallelujah"

Trevor- "Mom, what's a will?"
Me- "It tells people what we want done incase we die, like who you will go and live with if Mom and Dad both die."
Kaylee- "Who will we live with"
Me- "Probably Aunt Charlotte"
Trevor- "Oh yeah...Kaylee they have a Wii!"
Kaylee- (upset)"Yeah, but they have the 'wheels' for mario cart"
Trevor- "But that just means there will be more controllers!"
Kaylee- "Ok, cool!"
Glad to know I will be missed when I am gone!

Nathan- "Mom, is the Nintendo out of timeout yet?"
Me- "No, maybe tomorrow."
Nathan- "But it IS tomorrow, it is bedtime right now!"(it is actually breakfast time)

After handing me a piece of paper with random letters he had written all over it:
Nathan- "Mom, what does this say"
Me- (making stuff up) "my name is Nathan, I am really smart..."
Nathan- "N0! It says Wii"
Me- "Oh, I meant...I love to play the Wii"
Nathan then gets a very satisfied look and walks away.

While watching comercials on TV:
Nathan- "Mom, can they REALLY do that?"
Me- "Can who do what?"
Nathan- "Can Banana's really talk?"
Me- "No"
Nathan- "But LOOK!"
I look up to see a comercial with a talking banana, I guess it is time we have a talk about real vs make believe.

Me- "Nathan did you know you were cute?"
Nathan- "Yes"
Me- "How did you know?"
Nathan- "Because I was upstairs playing Mario Kart"
Me- "Oh, did you know I love you?"
Nathan- "Yes"
Me- "How did you know?"
Nathan- "Because you give me kisses"

While looking at a picture of Grandpa Tucker with Trevor Kaylee and Nathan:
Me- "Ashton is not in that picture because he was not even in my tummy then.
Trevor- "Yeah, but you were still fat then.....because Nathan was still a baby."

Trevor- "I am going to stay up late and read so that I don't have enough energy to be rowdy tomorrow"
...two hours later.....
Trevor- "I have to sleep in your room Mom because there are too many books in my room"
...in the morning.....
Trevor- "It worked!!! I am still tired!!!"

Trevor was asleep on the couch, but looked me right in the eyes and said:"you gave That to him?.....you gave him a hat?
Me- "What?" (I was on the other couch giving Ashton a bottle)
Trevor- "You gave Nathan a hat to use as a puke bowl?" (puke bowls are the bowls I give my kids when they need to throw up)
Me- "No"
Trevor- "Ok" Then he closed his eyes again. Trevor has always talked in his sleep sometimes it makes more sense than otheres!

Me- "Trevor brush your teeth!" (the exclamation point is because it was the fourth or fifth time I had told him)
Trevor- "Nathan wont pull his pants down!"
At this point I just stood outside the bathroom door debating on if I really wanted to go in.

The morning after I had to change him in the middle of the night because he woke me up saying "Mom, I peed" Then I found a wet spot on my carpet and his bed was dry:
Me- "Nathan, did you pee on my bedroom floor?"
Nathan- "No, it was Trevor"
Me- "No, it was you"
Nathan- "No I was asleep and I saw Trevor do it when I was sleeping"
Me- "Why were your PJ's wet?"
Nathan- "Because Trevor peed on them"

Nathan- "Mom, why do you play with Ashton, he is a boy. When Kaylee's baby comes out of her tummy you can play with it because it will be a girl. And the baby in Trevor's tummy is a boy"
Me- "What about the baby in your tummy?"
Nathan- "My baby is a boy, but it will come out of your tummy"

Bryan- "What did you do in art class today?"
Trevor- "We learned about the primary colors....my art teacher must go to church a lot because she knew a lot about the primary colors."

As Bryan and I lay in bed:
Trevor- "Dad don't you want to get up, the clock says 7:45, lets play settlers"
Bryan-"What!.....Oh Crap! (he has to leave for work at 7:20, and runs and calls his boss who he carpools with.....his boss does not answer his phone and Bryan runs back to our room to get dressed)
Bryan- "Ahh!"
Me- "Bryan....it's Sunday"(the look on Bryan's face is priceless as he climbs back into bed)

After stroking Ashtons cheeks until he fell asleep:
Kaylee- "Mom, you can call me down if he wakes up in the middle of the night, so I can put him back to sleep."

While eating Lasagna for dinner:
Nathan- "I like this dinner"
Me- "it's lasagna"
Nathan- "ew yuck, I dont like lasagna, I like hamburgers"

While driving the kids to school with wet hair:
Nathan- "Mom, you should really finish your hair, its so embarassing!"(so is the fact that I dont know how to spell embarassing)

Trevor- "My fingernails are short because I have been biting them, I tried to bite my toe nails too, but they are to hard"
